Thank you Mark, it is a great place / park.. Just wish that whoever is responsible to fix the foot bridge so we can go out over the falls again.
["4/18/22: Grand Rising to sounds of "See A Bird!" Heard this for months if not years by now. Choose to see this luvly bird today and in joy we are H.A.P.P.Y. to say...it happened, a red cardinal we spotted while singing "See A Bird," and let birdie know we luv the song and filled with Joy to know who was calling us to them. Didnt know previously what kind of bird was singing this! So beautiful in full circle of life. And yes we where searching for sounds make by cardinals & this is 2nd link we watched. Song here sounds like "birdie, birdie, birdie" so this is close enough for now to real sounds heard of "See A Bird!" events. Many layers to these events we have with colorful sweetest nectar ever Cardinal reiophim pleasures."]
I have never seen anything like that.

Thank you for watching shanum kenari greetings from Kearny, New Jersey. This is a northern cardinal beautiful birds they are
🍏 Early in the morning, before the alarm clock wakes me up, it's the melodious sounds of the beautiful birds that wakes me up with a pleasurable feeling. It's the birds melodious sounds that makes my mood feel better and cool. They fly from tree to tree making different types of sounds and getting themselves happy. They also makes my mood feel better and cool. 🍎 I opened the windows and peeped through the trees and the flower plants. There, I saw several types of lovely birds and their sweet sounds that gave me a cool relaxation. Birds welcomes the morning and waiting patiently for the sun to rise. They welcome the sun rise by their melodious sounds that is hardly difficult to highlight its natural performance. 🍏 While I was watching the movements of the beautiful birds through the window, suddenly I felt someone touching my shoulder very slowly and softly. In no time I turned back to see who was that. To my surprise I saw my younger sister Sara watching along with me the bird's free movements and then their pleasurable sounds that attracts our attention and relaxations. 🍎 If I was a bird, if I had lovely voices, if I had melodious sounds, if I would be able to fly up in the sky, if I can fly from tree to tree, if I can enjoy the tasty fruits as my favourite, if I could soak my body with the rain shower, if I could allow the sun light to make my tiny body feel better, then how happy I would be to live in this world with full of happiness. But I am unlucky to be a human being where there is no freedom like a bird has. 🍎🍏 By: Dawood Written on: 9th March 2022 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
The Bridge of Lions used to look like that in St. Augustine, Florida.
Thank you for watching James greetings from Harrison NJ. Was that bridge just a regular street bridge or a highway/interstate? This bridge the Stickel is part of Interstate 280 I know not many bridges that open are found along with the United States interstate system I know there is one on 95 in Washington DC and just a few others.
That was FANTASTIC!
Thank you for watching Adam, Have a Happy New Year.. Yeah that performance was fantastic, and she is fantastic.
Sounds like `birdie, birdie`. The Northern Cardinal represents Hope.
Thank you Rob, absoultely had to record this guy.. I would say whenever seeing the Cardinals does bring great vibes, when things seem down these little guys and gals definfity bring much needed cheer.
FANTASTIC JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankyou for watching Student of the Word, we'll I'm just a guy with a camera, lol. Mother Nature did all the handy work here, something so forceful just awe inspiring. Yet the effects of the hurricane were so deadly and destructive.

Was river road flooded after the dam?
Thank you for watching Carlos I have to say yes unfortunately. Once south of the dam the river isn't as winding as it is north of the dam and it turns into tidal waters. On my way back home several families lost lots like in the towns of Garfield, East Rutherford, Lyndhurst all within a few blocks of the river. I have photos of some damage here, now I didn't want to focus on people's driveways too much as it is heartbreaking.. photos.app.goo.gl/SssKVfJmeXNWNMDX6
Great capture. Thanks for posting Adam. Hope all is well!
Thank you Chris, yeah that storm Ida was something else, my family and I are fine per the aftermath of the storm. How are you and your family doing/dealing with the after effects from the storm?
@@AdamElmquist that's good you're ok. South Jersey didn't get hit too bad except for that strange tornado in mullica Hill. We're fine. Stay safe my friend and keep up the good filming.
I used to go there as a kid after big storms to feel the thunder. Never saw it like this!
Thank you for watching same here really I've been coming here all my life.. I have seen the falls rage, as matter of fact the river was spilling onto McBride Ave & Spruce Street during hurricane Irene I remember this time it was not.. Even though with Irene some of the river was actually flowing down the road, the falls itself from what I remember were not like this.
Too much background noise. Good though thanks
Was an old zoom barrel camera that's where most of the noise was coming from the motor from the zooming camera now I shoot with a camcorder and don't really zoom unless it's necessary. Thank you for watching, lol.
This drawbridge is landmark of kearney and jersey city it's a nice site to look at
This bridge is actually between Harrison and Newark.. The Wittpenn Bridge is between Kearny and Jersey City.
The stickle draw bridge still seems to be a pretty strong drawbridge hope to continue on keeping this bridge mantained an preserved and strong
Yeah after the New Jersey Department of Transportation just finished a project on the bridge structure itself, it should last many more decades as it stands now.
The stickle draw bridge very well maintained bridge it's a landmark going into kearney and jersey city
Thank you for watching Mark, yes you are right the bridge is decently maintained. I know only a handful of these bridges exist that are actually on/apart of the interstate highway system. The traffic this causes when they open the bridge, it's a good thing they mostly only test it on random weekends only once or twice a year. If someone could ever give me a heads up when another test happens I would be more than happy to film it again, also the bridge just to the south as well the NJT RR Newark Draw is cool too because the Morristown lines are one of the busiest Transit lines outside of the Northeast Corridor for Transit so both bridges see a lot of traffic.
This will always be my favorite ride ❤️
I'm glad that installed this type of ride, now they just need to cut a few more trees down so we get better views of the park on the return trip.
I went that ride on Halloween
It is a great ride you get to see most of the park
Beautiful bird. Beautiful singing. 😁😁❤❤
yes he is and I agree sounds beautiful.. greetings from Kearny, NJ
I wish I could grab the ring
Got come out to Knoebels! One of the best family parks, in my opinion, better than the parks in Florida hands down. Knoebels just good ole fashioned family fun at reasonable prices too.
Nice footage! I love cardinals, I have been feeding the same pair for 3 years, (well, the male has been the same for 3 years, that much I am certain of, the female I am less certain of and it’s possible it’s a different female now than he was with a year or two ago, but yeah the male cardinal I have been feeding for 3 years and he’s adorable, he has the funniest sounding song
Thank you CenturianEagle, yeah every so often we may now have two or three males I've seen at one time, then also a female or two show up. Fantastic how you have been able to have the same Cardinal come back for so many years, once they know a good spot such as yours they know to come back.
This was the old Spring Fling chairlift at a ski resort called Sugarbush in Vermont.
Cool well, Knoebels has many rides from other parks that they couldn't use anymore and Knoebels does a great job at maintaining them.
I would love so much to see them one day thank you
I enjoy it so much to watch your videos I don’t drink beer but I enjoy these videos thank you so much for sharing ❤️❤️
Thank you for watching Annie yes I feel the same and I don't drink any alcohol at all though. Check out this site and/or facebook: www.budweiser.com/en/clydesdales/hitch-schedule.html . They are such beautiful horses and Budweiser really pampers these giants they are real super stars.
What’s with the music ?
Thank you for watching machia0705 they had a radio station there playing music and a band besides the jingle coming from the Clydesdales wagon itself. At least this video didn't get flagged for copyright music I guess because too much music overlapping besides other noises.
Adam Elmquist Ok. I was trying to understand the correlation between country music and Clydesdales , that’s all. Lol A very good friend of mine worked as a machinist at the Newark brewery for many years. He said after the expansion, they can put out over 10.5 million barrels of beer per year. Amazing operation. Nice video. Thanks.
@@machia0705 ahh cool yes it is an amazing operation

Thank you for watching DUELTAP GAMING greetings from the Wildwoods..
Can you imagine the feeling of flying? Imagine the wind, the sun, the freedom; imagine the whole world below you. As a child, I would dream about flying, and I envied the life of a bird soaring high in the sky. But many birds don’t get to live this life and instead lead lives of misery in cages as pets. Caged birds are either captured in the wild or bred in captivity. Both are horrible: One involves knowing what freedom was and the other never knowing a minute of it. Around the world, nearly every species of bird is kept in cages, from pigeons to parrots; people create prisons for every type of these beautiful animals. Many people buy birds not knowing of the cruelty that they will be inflicting on them and often underestimating the care that a bird needs. In the wild, birds would never leave their flock, but pet birds rarely ever have the opportunity even to see another bird for their entire lifetimes. Pet birds are often kept in cramped cages where they are unable even to stretch their wings and never know the joy of flying or the happiness of freedom. Birds in cages crave freedom and companionship and often exhibit aggressive, neurotic, and self-destructive behavior as they languish in cramped cages. Because of their seemingly bad behavior caused by their torturous conditions, people will often condemn them to living in dark corners, in basements, or on balconies, all the while locked inside of cages. Birds are known for their complex communication techniques, their beautiful feathers, and their unique intelligence, but when we cage birds, we take away their lives. Buying birds contributes to this horrible problem. Birds are meant to fly and be with their flock. If you are a bird lover, consider buying binoculars and going on bird-watching hikes or making a backyard oasis for your feathered friends. Never cage birds! January 24, 2018
Thank you for stopping by Carol, very true about birds in cages... I usually just record the birdies in between doing something else like watching trains. I typically railfan at various spots in NJ, NY, & PA and in between the trains those birdies are around so I film them too. Please check out my primary channel: www.libertyrailfan.com
Very nice. Thinking to visit today.
Thank you, if you do go dress warmly so that you can enjoy the beautiful wonder of the mostly frozen falls.
Great video! Thanks for posting. I was there as well and posted a few clips
Thank you for watching paulatcvs yeah it was a great concert, Sara is amazing :-) . I would have done more video clips but I know they really didn't want video so just sneaking in the very last moment of the concert is a must! :-) . Honestly don't really know how we got orchestra right Row A right in front we just picked the tickets at random.. As for the Sherman hope they keep up the good acts and get their permanent seats put back in really a decent theater and staff..
Brilliant! Good singing from both parties, especially JB!
Thank you for watching Brian Hains yup everyone else was joining in so why not... Greetings from Steamtown, Scranton Pennsylvania.
The tune playing on the Frati is "Strike Up The Band".
cool, glad Knoebels does their best to keep the original equipment up and running especially for the musical elements.
nice. typically have several nesting pairs in my back yard every year.
Where at? "Nearest city area"
+Adam Elmquist southern tier of new york. near elmira.
Cool these guys really get around lol, it's definitely a lot easier filming these guys then those darn bluejays.. These birds only tend to stay for only a few seconds if that, but the bluejays even less by my area anyways..
+Adam Elmquist , I have a feeder. That tends to slow them down...! Have fed the birds since I was a boy. Something my Grandmother taught me.
Hey! Could you sub to me?
Hey Tim I'm already subbed to your channel using my Liberty Railfan Productions ID.. I only use this channel is for non railroad videos..
Nice catch! Are there train tracks near there?
Pretty sure :-) . Right next to the NS Lehigh Line I use this account for non train videos..
I've never seen this lift bridge open up at all. I often ask myself, why put a lift bridge on an extremely busy interstate highway knowing it will trigger Godzilla size jams if need be arises having to open up?
Thank you very much Celestino Faginas, well this bridge was put well before 280 was put in. It was just known to the locals as the Stickel Bridge. It was officially known as Route 25A which started in Harrison and ended at Orange Street in Newark. Ocean going vessels used to actually go far up the Passaic to Dundee Dam there used to even be the Dundee Canal with locks for boats to navigate the dam..
Not once have I ever seen that bridge open.
Thank you for watching Michael I guess it was being in the right place at the right time.. I thinks its about two / three times a year they test the bridge. Next I'd like to see the NJT railroad bridge next to it open up. I have seen videos of it but would like to see it in person.
I wonder how often, if ever, it opens for marine traffic. Not too many large boats go up the Passaic. I know the bridges on the Hackensack open more often.
Michael Niemiera yes for now on the Hackensack but soon will also see less PSE&G is converting the power station in JC to natural gas. As for the Passaic seldomely boats to go up the river anymore outside of any clean up effort for Diamond Shamrock or the river keeper..
Are they converting Hudson Generating Station to natural gas? I heard they are closing it next year. Unit 2 (The only remaining unit in operation) already can run on natural gas as well as coal. I hope they don't close it, that plant has always been special to me. My dad used to work there and years ago they would have events there for the employees and their families. My favorite thing as a little kid was my dad bringing me into the control room and telling me which buttons to push to test the alarms. This was way before 9/11 so I'm sure they don't do that anymore.
Michael Niemiera yes from my understanding the facility will be converted fully to natural gas.
